Internal automation demo

Wearable data, turned into a daily decision.

WHOOP Training Copilot is a Kargela Studio example automation. It connects recovery, sleep, strain, and the planned training block, then outputs the only thing that matters that morning: what should change today?

Planned55-60 min Z2 run
Decision

Run as planned.

Set the treadmill at 5.2-5.5 mph. If the legs feel good, finish the last 10 minutes at 5.8-6.0 mph.

Data in

Recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, strain, cycles, and workouts are pulled through the WHOOP API after OAuth permission.

Rules applied

The automation compares readiness against the actual training block instead of giving generic wellness advice.

Decision out

The output is practical: run, bike, deload, rest, or keep the plan, with the day’s exact intensity and pace.

System pattern

This is bigger than WHOOP.

The useful pattern is private data source plus real-world rules plus a short action. That same pattern works for owners, clinicians, creators, and local service teams.

Connect

Wearable, calendar, CRM, email, form, spreadsheet, payment system, or practice dashboard.

Interpret

Apply the business rules that usually live in your head, your SOPs, or a messy notes file.

Act

Create a daily brief, update a lead queue, draft a follow-up, flag a risk, or recommend the next move.

What it could become

From personal demo to sellable automation.

  • Daily training plan adjustment from WHOOP plus a stored plan.
  • Weekly performance summary with trends and warnings.
  • Calendar-aware recommendations that know when the day is overloaded.
  • Client-ready versions for coaches, small teams, or practice owners.

Have a data source you keep checking by hand?

That is usually the clue. If the same information keeps asking you to make the same decision, it can probably become a small automation.
