Kargela Studio privacy policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Kargela Studio websites, forms, automations, and demonstration apps operated by Kargela Studio. It includes Kargela Studio Fitness OS, a private wearable-data automation used to support personal fitness, recovery, and training-plan decisions.

Kargela Studio is separate from Modern Pain Care. Kargela Studio Fitness OS is not a clinical service, medical record system, or patient-care tool.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the service or automation, we may collect:

• Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and project details submitted through forms or email.
• Website usage information, such as basic analytics, referring pages, browser type, and device information.
• Project information needed to build websites, automations, integrations, or internal tools.
• Connected wearable data, only when authorized, such as WHOOP recovery, sleep, strain/cycles, workouts, profile, and body measurement data.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Respond to inquiries and manage client projects.
• Build, operate, and improve websites and automations.
• Generate personal fitness, recovery, and training-plan recommendations when wearable data is connected.
• Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance.
• Comply with legal obligations when required.

4. WHOOP and wearable data

Kargela Studio Fitness OS may request access to WHOOP data through WHOOP's OAuth authorization process. The app may request scopes for recovery, sleep, cycles, workouts, profile, and body measurements. The data is used to support personal fitness planning and recovery-aware training decisions.

Wearable data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for marketing. Access can be revoked through WHOOP account settings or by contacting Kargela Studio.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with infrastructure providers that help operate the website, host pages, process forms, send email, or run approved automations. These providers are used only as needed to deliver the service.

6. Storage and retention

Information is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or business-record reasons. For private demo automations, data may be stored in local or private systems unless the user authorizes a hosted workflow.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so sensitive credentials should not be sent through ordinary email or contact forms.

8. Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or disconnection of information by emailing mark@kargelastudio.com. Connected app access can also be revoked through the relevant provider, such as WHOOP.

9. Not medical advice

Kargela Studio Fitness OS and related wearable-data automations are for personal planning and informational use only. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical monitoring.

10. Updates

This policy may be updated as Kargela Studio adds new services or integrations. The effective date above will change when material updates are made.
